Swingin' away

We got Hayden a new little swing. We hung it up on the deck downstairs. We put him in it for the first time and he loved it. He is the happiest baby. Having a happy baby is new to us since our girls were always crusty, okay not crusty they just werent real friendly, smiley babies. We also got a swing set for the back yard and the girls have a blast on it. They take out all their dolls and pretend food and pretend they live in the fort. I am so ready for summer. We are going to have a blast!

Hamster-sitting

We have these friends in our ward that called us up and asked to babysit their hamster. Well, how could I say no.. My girls were so excited about it. Mallory just the other day said "mom, can we have a pet"? I said "what kind of pet?" She said, "either a horse or a turtle". Just for the record I am not a pet person!! So watching this hamster was as good as it was going to get. His name is Theodore and they love him, even though he does nothing all day and just runs his little heart out ALL night. They had to have the neighbor kids come over to see him. The other morning Aubrey woke up before anyone and came out to see him. She suddenly came running in our room and said "Theodore got me all wet." I looked at her finger and it was bloody and the thing had bit her. I guess thats what she gets when you stick your finger in and try to wake it up. Hamster-sitting is over tomorrow if the girls will let it go.

My Little Lima Beans!

This is an old pic from Easter of the kids but it is the only one I have of all 4 of them that is recent. Wow!! I have 4 children!! Sometimes when I say that I cant believe it. I love it! They are getting so big. We start birthday central in less than a month for Aubrey then Mallory then Chandler. YUP! Christmas in June.

Lemonade for Sale!!

So we had a garage sale a weeks ago. Our girls along with the neighbors wanted to have a lemonade stand. They made cookies and good old country time lemonade. It was so hysterical becuase first of all it was freezing cold and we should of had hot chocolate. But because the neighbors had the stand we had to go with the country time! And second they couldnt do change for people. Someone gave them a 5 and they were like "Oh, thanks" They thought they could just take the 5 and run. It just didnt seem fair that they would have to give him 4 ones and change back for just 1 five dollar bill. They were cute and I think they made 14 dollars in all. Hey, maybe we are in the wrong business.

Our new "little man"

Ok.. So I am new to the Blog thing, but I am going to try it out. I just want to be amongst the cool people. Well we had our newest addition to the family on December 20 2007. Hayden Glade weighing in at 7lbs. 3oz. and 21 inches long. A little blue isnt so bad!!
