Where did Aubs go?

Dave just went in to check on Aubrey and she was not in her room....instant panic. She never leaves her room when she goes to bed. So we went down to the girls room and low and behold- Aubrey snuggled up to Chandler. Yes, she has curlers (I'm a nerd) but I like the look of the different curl especially for Christmas sunday! Anyway, there she was all sound asleep.

Like father like son, true blue cougar!

Dave and his boy gearing up for the BYU game tonight. The poor kid has no choice!
Cute little boys!

Little man turns 1 today!!

I cant believe that Hayden turned one today. It makes me so sad that he is growing up so fast. (and no its not time for another!!) We had a fun day. Like he even knew it was his birthday but we still had the whole shebang!! Of course he will bleed blue with his cougar attire!! Thanks G&G Schramm!
He didnt quite know what to think of his cake. He kept throwing it on the floor, until I put some in his mouth. Then he was chowin down.

Oh ya baby!!! Look at these set of wheels. Dave wondered if it had a hemi??? It just about did. This was actually my second attempt at this bad boy. The first one looked way to much like a el camino.... ug! The child loves wheels and anything round so I had to do a truck. Yes, its a truck!! Its weird not doing a girly cake, its kinda fun doing one for a boy! Anyway, here is the truck cake.

The girls helping Hayden open his presents. Every picture I took today I missed the smile on his face by seconds. Oh well at least the others are smiling. He loves his firetruck.

He was so possessive of this push toy. It made all sorts of noises and if anyone got on it he would start yelling at them. It was so funny. He has started making mean faces. Its not surprising if you know the other girls and their faces they used to make at this age. We had a fun day with him and playing with his new toys. He is so much fun. He is getting really fast at walking and now he cruises around like he owns the place. Love ya little man!!

Yea for Snow!!!

I know, its a shocker that I am updating our blog. I admit, it has been NUTSO!! I dont know how everyone stays so up on them. Uggg... I need to do better. We got our first real bit of snow last week and the girls just loved going out to play in it. After living in Alabama for so long where we got no snow this is AWESOME for them. (even though it wasnt much.)

Thanks Sarah for making her hat!
Nothing like snow angels... on the driveway!

Go Mally go!!!

I know this isn't Mallory but I had to throw it in there. I should've done its own post, but oh well!! BUSTED!!!! I came in from the other room and heard mmmm...mmmm..mmmm. He had gotten into the cereal and poured it out on the floor. It's moments like these that he is lucky to be a baby and so cute! Don't look at my messy pantry!
Pedal, pedal, pedal is all I would yell out to her!

Off she goes trying to ride her bike. Its gonna take some time to get the balance thing down.

Gettin started on her bike. Thanks to the balance buddy (The bar attached to her bike. I recommend this for everyone teaching someone to ride, it's great) she has some help!

Pumpkin Carving

So the pictures are out of order... so sorry! We had a great time carving our pumpkins. The girls loved getting their hands in the slime.
Scoopin out the goop!

Helping the girls get all the seeds out. I remember this as a kid and my mom helping us get all the left over stuff out of there and it had to be clean.

Hayden loved the pumpkin because he thought it was a ball and if its round he loves it.

Getting ready to carve pumpkins!

Happy Halloween

Disgusting I know, but I love to make a fun Halloween dinner for the kids. So this year the menu was.... mummy pizzas, string cheese fingers, apple "bites", witches' brooms and jello pumpkin. I swear I get more excited than they do. I just remember my mom making fun dinners on Halloween so I have to keep up the tradition. It was fun. I want to do a mixed up dinner sometime (thanks Chels) but this year I felt like they were a little young.
Gorilla costume........... $10 3 bags of candy............. $8 seeing Hayden in his costume for all of 3 minutes.........priceless!
Mr. Hayden was a gorilla and absolutely hated this costume even though he looked so cute. He really would pull at it like crazy so he didn't last long. But it was hilarious!

My OCD was coming out really bad when my kids did not want to be anything coordinating this year. Dave said I had to let them be what they wanted. As hard as it was for me, I did it. Aubs wanted to be Dora, so Dora she was. But it was really cute and she got a lot of comments on the hair.

Mallory insisted on being something that wasn't to hot! After trying for weeks to get her to be other things she was determined to be an Indian (again)! [Dave insists she's a "Native American"]. She still looked so cute in the costume and it was a warm night so it's good she was something cool.

And finally, the pink flamingo. Chandler likes flamingos, so when she saw this costume it was a must for her. It was quite awkward but she pulled it off. She likes to be the different one. Go ahead and keep laughing because she knows people kept laughing at her.

Chuck E Cheese!!!

Hammy and Papa (that would be Grandma Schramm and Grandpa Schramm) and "Aunt Nellie" and "Uncle Fancy" (that is what Aubrey thought their names were) Really its Aunt Nancy and Uncle Francis came to visit us for a few days and we had so much fun. We went to Chuck E Cheese the last night they were here. The girls had a blast. I remember going there as a kid and that place was so huge and fun. Well, its still fun but the girls really had a good time. Chandler has it down now that its all about the tickets so she was going for those big time. We came out of there with the lamest toys ever for 250 tickets split 3 ways. They know how to get ya thats for sure. We sure had fun with family there with us. Hayden just hanging out in his stroller. He loves to look at the wheels go around on his stroller.
Hammy and the girls playing games

Hooray for family coming to visit us.

Chandler loved riding on this horse. She has a new love for horses all of the sudden.

High School Musical 3

So the girls just could not wait to see the new High School Musical 3. Grandma and Grandpa came to town with Aunt Nancy and Uncle Frans. So off to the theater we went on saturday. We went like 30 minutes early and had bought our tickets the night before since we were for sure it would be a total sell out. As we rush through the theater to get in to get seats for everyone, I kid you not, we walk in to the theater and there was like oh... 4 other people in there. And 4 other people were all that was there the whole time. We laughed that we were in such a hurry to get seats and we didnt even need to worry. We loved the movie, it was really cute. I love the music in these shows. We had a great time. That darn sun was really in the way!

He also thinks he can walk now. He cant yet.... Hes trying real hard. He is all BOY!!

Ice Blocking!!

Last Monday we went ice blocking at a local park for family night with a bunch of families in our ward. It is so much fun as you can see on their faces.
Seriously, she made this face knowing I was taking the picture. Its a beauty!
Here they come down the hill.
Mally would fly down the hill on her block of ice. Next time we need to go earlier, so we can stay longer. It got pretty dark but we had tons of fun.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

This is Mallory and Maren, her good friend from her school. The kindergarten had a field trip to the pumpkin patch. I was able to go with them. It was so cute. There were goats to feed and pet, a hay maze, a hay ride and a huge pumpkin patch for all the kids to pick a pumpkin.
Mally feeding the goats
Me and Mallory on the hay ride. We had so much fun! I am so glad I can go do these things with them, thanks to daddy who stayed home with the little ones!
Isnt she so cute!

Soccer Season!

This year the girls wanted to play soccer. Well if any of you know how skilled I am when it comes to sports then you will know how I worried that they wanted to play. But their dad said "they can play if they want to" so I signed them up. Mally is very excited to play.

Of course she had to get her doll ready for the game as well in her very own soccer attire. Honestly!!! She is on team BLAST!!! She was a little nervous when she got to the first game and realized she is on of 3 girls on a 12 person team. However she was the only one with a pink ball so that made it ok!! haha She was so cute to watch play. At one point she started to kick it and we had to yell "THE OTHER WAY" she was kicking it down the wrong way. She never even noticed (or cared) she was so proud of herself for kicking the ball at all!
She would just wait until the coaches said "break time" and she would come running over for water as if she had just ran the mile or something. When we asked her at the end of the game what her favorite part was she said "the snack after the game" So we will see how it goes!! I will post pics of Chandlers game after this weekend. Her game rained the whole time so they ended up canceling it.

Off to Preschool

Aubrey had her first day of preschool and boy was she excited. She has wanted to go to preschool since her big sisters go to school. She thinks she is big time now!! Well, she is!
She was given her own bag at school to bring with her every time. Its so funny because its like twice the size of her. But she loves that thing. She got to pick out the color because purple is her favorite color.
When we got to school she found out one of the little girls name was Hayden and she said "two Haydens, my brother and a girl" "thats silly". She is so funny lately (and a stinker too) but Chandler has been learning the National Anthem at school so she has been teaching it at home to her sisters and boy can Aubs sing this one! Its so funny!
