Where did Aubs go?

Dave just went in to check on Aubrey and she was not in her room....instant panic. She never leaves her room when she goes to bed. So we went down to the girls room and low and behold- Aubrey snuggled up to Chandler. Yes, she has curlers (I'm a nerd) but I like the look of the different curl especially for Christmas sunday! Anyway, there she was all sound asleep.

Like father like son, true blue cougar!

Dave and his boy gearing up for the BYU game tonight. The poor kid has no choice!
Cute little boys!

Little man turns 1 today!!

I cant believe that Hayden turned one today. It makes me so sad that he is growing up so fast. (and no its not time for another!!) We had a fun day. Like he even knew it was his birthday but we still had the whole shebang!! Of course he will bleed blue with his cougar attire!! Thanks G&G Schramm!
He didnt quite know what to think of his cake. He kept throwing it on the floor, until I put some in his mouth. Then he was chowin down.

Oh ya baby!!! Look at these set of wheels. Dave wondered if it had a hemi??? It just about did. This was actually my second attempt at this bad boy. The first one looked way to much like a el camino.... ug! The child loves wheels and anything round so I had to do a truck. Yes, its a truck!! Its weird not doing a girly cake, its kinda fun doing one for a boy! Anyway, here is the truck cake.

The girls helping Hayden open his presents. Every picture I took today I missed the smile on his face by seconds. Oh well at least the others are smiling. He loves his firetruck.

He was so possessive of this push toy. It made all sorts of noises and if anyone got on it he would start yelling at them. It was so funny. He has started making mean faces. Its not surprising if you know the other girls and their faces they used to make at this age. We had a fun day with him and playing with his new toys. He is so much fun. He is getting really fast at walking and now he cruises around like he owns the place. Love ya little man!!

Yea for Snow!!!

I know, its a shocker that I am updating our blog. I admit, it has been NUTSO!! I dont know how everyone stays so up on them. Uggg... I need to do better. We got our first real bit of snow last week and the girls just loved going out to play in it. After living in Alabama for so long where we got no snow this is AWESOME for them. (even though it wasnt much.)

Thanks Sarah for making her hat!
Nothing like snow angels... on the driveway!

Go Mally go!!!

I know this isn't Mallory but I had to throw it in there. I should've done its own post, but oh well!! BUSTED!!!! I came in from the other room and heard mmmm...mmmm..mmmm. He had gotten into the cereal and poured it out on the floor. It's moments like these that he is lucky to be a baby and so cute! Don't look at my messy pantry!
Pedal, pedal, pedal is all I would yell out to her!

Off she goes trying to ride her bike. Its gonna take some time to get the balance thing down.

Gettin started on her bike. Thanks to the balance buddy (The bar attached to her bike. I recommend this for everyone teaching someone to ride, it's great) she has some help!

Pumpkin Carving

So the pictures are out of order... so sorry! We had a great time carving our pumpkins. The girls loved getting their hands in the slime.
Scoopin out the goop!

Helping the girls get all the seeds out. I remember this as a kid and my mom helping us get all the left over stuff out of there and it had to be clean.

Hayden loved the pumpkin because he thought it was a ball and if its round he loves it.

Getting ready to carve pumpkins!

Happy Halloween

Disgusting I know, but I love to make a fun Halloween dinner for the kids. So this year the menu was.... mummy pizzas, string cheese fingers, apple "bites", witches' brooms and jello pumpkin. I swear I get more excited than they do. I just remember my mom making fun dinners on Halloween so I have to keep up the tradition. It was fun. I want to do a mixed up dinner sometime (thanks Chels) but this year I felt like they were a little young.
Gorilla costume........... $10 3 bags of candy............. $8 seeing Hayden in his costume for all of 3 minutes.........priceless!
Mr. Hayden was a gorilla and absolutely hated this costume even though he looked so cute. He really would pull at it like crazy so he didn't last long. But it was hilarious!

My OCD was coming out really bad when my kids did not want to be anything coordinating this year. Dave said I had to let them be what they wanted. As hard as it was for me, I did it. Aubs wanted to be Dora, so Dora she was. But it was really cute and she got a lot of comments on the hair.

Mallory insisted on being something that wasn't to hot! After trying for weeks to get her to be other things she was determined to be an Indian (again)! [Dave insists she's a "Native American"]. She still looked so cute in the costume and it was a warm night so it's good she was something cool.

And finally, the pink flamingo. Chandler likes flamingos, so when she saw this costume it was a must for her. It was quite awkward but she pulled it off. She likes to be the different one. Go ahead and keep laughing because she knows people kept laughing at her.
